The roads around Frecheville are not the only areas now facing the wrath of the workmen.
We now have an area where the footpath has been dug up to facilitate the needs of the workmen.
On Thornbridge Avenue, close to the junction with Thornbridge Drive, the Streetforce Team are carrying out work which means the footpath (on the same side as Birley Primary School) has been closed off to pedestrians for the time being.
One young mum returning from collecting her young child from school was heard to say "This is ridiculous. The footpath is closed outside the school and there is a lot of traffic flying about."
Hopefully the Streetforce Team have finished their work within the next day or so.
