Timothy Moffatt: 'Why people should vote for me'
Date: 29/04/2012. Story submitted by: F Campbell
Campaigns are underway across Sheffield for the local elections which are taking place this Thursday.
There are five candidates standing in the Broomhill Ward. I invited each of them to tell locals why they should vote for them.
Conservative Party Candidate Timothy Moffatt told Postcode Gazette that he's "fed up with people having to listen to the other parties attack one another constantly".
He said: "The battle seems to be about the removal of Paul Scriven and nothing else,
"The people of Broomhill are simply forgotten about. [I want] to give the working families, students and pensioners of Broomhill a new, alternative and positive voice in the Town Hall - and to really let people have their say on issues that really matter to them; such as the environment or supporting local business more effectively. 7
Tim said he's worked in Sheffield all his life and works with special needs pupils and also as a Drama Co-ordinator at Tapton School. As well as this, he told Postcode Gazette that he's part-time student at the University of Sheffield and hopes that the people of Broomhill will get behind him and bring about a positive change to the Ward.
