The Friends Of Bishops' House celebrated Katherine's Day with a look at Katherine Blythe, a family member of the house.
They presented some of the crafts she was a patron of and demonstrated how to make an Elizabethan-style paper ruff!
Despite the inclement weather, the event was a success and further entertainment came from local musician Mark Veevers, who played some period tunes on his hurdy-gurdy.
