Public apology for 'puddle splash'

It's happened to almost all of us.

We're walking along minding our own business when a car drives past through a huge puddle and splashes dirty rain water all over us!

But how often have you received an apology from the driver in question?

Well one driver with a conscience in Walkley felt so guilty for his 'puddle mistake' that he's issued a public apology on a local internet forum.

Describing himself as 'the man in the green Subaru' the man said: "Sorry matey! I came round the corner a bit tight this morning on Walkley Bank Road and managed to hit what must have been the biggest puddle in the world just in the gutter.

"This poor bloke walked up the gennel with his kid and must have got the complete force of this 8ft deep puddle.

"As I realised what had happened, I was already near the junction, looking in my mirror he looked a bit miffed!

"So if you're reading this, Sorry! It wasn't on purpose!"

Man in the green Subaru - you're forgiven!
