Sheffield FC have confirmed the appointment of Curtis Woodhouse as their new first-team manager.
He replaces Mark Shaw, who left the club last week following a heavy defeat at Ilkeston in the play-offs.
Woodhouse, who played for Sheffield United before a £1 million transfer to Birmingham City in 2001, is now a professional boxer.
He is no stranger to the Dronfield-based club, having previously played for Sheffield.
The 31-year-old went close to landing the job last summer when he was shortlisted by Sheffield chiefs before they decided to appoint Shaw.
