More than 50 traders sold funky dresses, hand-made jewellery and accessories inspired by a bygone era at a fashion fair this weekend.
The Vintage Fashion Fair, organised by Lou Lou Whitehead, pitched up at Sheffield Town Hall to offer shoppers a taste of fashion from the 40s, 50s and 60s.
Bargain hunters were also treated beauty parlour treats and a traditional English tea party.
Jewellery and accessory Claire Booth, of Les Bijoux de Claire, attended the event.
She said: “I live in Sheffield and have been doing a lot of craft fairs and events like this because it’s a great opportunity for me to promote what I do, particularly on my website.
“It has been really fun and a great atmosphere. It has also been fantastic to be in such a central location where, hopefully, more people have been popping in for a look around than usual. I’ve definitely been receiving lots of attention, with my stud earrings and hairclips selling particularly well.”
The Vintage Fashion Fair will return to Sheffield Town Hall on Saturday, July 14 and also on July 21 and 22 for the Sheffield outdoor markets in the city centre.
