Steel City fashion label, Drop Dead, have donned their wellies and begun touring festivals up and down the country to promote their unique brand of clothing.
Fresh from the Download Festival on June 9-10, the team are busy preparing for the Radio One Big Weekend, taking place this weekend on Hackney Marshes, London.
Anthony Donbavand, PR and marketing coordinator, said: “With our roots in music, festivals are a great way for us to meet our customers and to reach out to new ones.
“We support the bands we work with and festival goers get the chance to buy our clothes. We give out plenty of free promotional items, like sunglasses, temporary tattoos, rain macs and stickers.”
Drop Dead will also be at the Hevy Festival, Kent, from August 3-6 and the Leeds Festival from August 24-26.
A little closer to home, the label is keeping tight-lipped about their involvement with Sheffield’s free-for-all music festival, Tramlines, taking place on July 20-22.
It is well known that Drop Dead have close links with the Sheffield music scene – their blog is packed with Sheffield talent wearing clothing from the home-grown label.
Founder of the brand, Oli Sykes, is even the lead singer of Sheffield metal band, Bring Me The Horizon.
Two years ago, the Steel City’s Finest hosted a club night for Tramlines at DQ on Fitzwilliam Street.
