The craft group Running With Scissors will be holding a workshop called ‘Get To Know Your Sewing Machine Better’ at the Meersbrook Park United Reformed Church on Chesterfield Road on Saturday, July 7 from 10am – 4pm.
The workshop will focus on the different methods of putting in a zip, running up a quick buttonhole and sewing buttons on using the machine.
The workshop is suitable for those who’ve mastered the basic techniques and wish to begin elaborating, and costs £55 per person.
