Residents in Handsworth and surrounding areas are getting increasingly worried about road conjestion as the opening date for the new Aldi gets closer.
The Aldi, which is still in the process of being built, is virtually next to the Asda Supercentre store and is due to open on September 6.
The traffic on Handsworth Road had already increased since the Asda moved premises from Orgreave Road several years ago.
Although Asda has another entrance via the parkway after the Handsworth roundabout, the exit still leads onto the busy Handsworth Road.
Handsworth Forum have already complained saying that the Aldi store will undoubtedly increase the number of vehicles on this already conjested road.
