Youngsters are invited to enjoy an afternoon of free BMX and Zorbing fun in Ringwood Park on the first weekend of the school summer holidays.
Officers from the Staveley area Safer Neighbourhood policing teams have organised the event, with activities offered free of charge thanks to sponsorship from Phoenix Brick Company Ltd on Dunston Road, Chesterfield.
PCSO Sheila Rooksby said: "Activity events like this are a great way for us to engage with youngsters in our community and to build better relationships.
“I hope that as many youngsters as possible come along to take part and have a go at something new.”
The event takes place on Saturday, July 21 at Ringwood Park between 12pm and 3pm, with BMX biking taking place between 12pm and 2pm and Zorbing between 2pm and 3pm.
Youngsters will need to have consent forms signed by a parent or carer for them to take part.
