Rotherham artist to head to China

Wentworth artist Yvonne North Moorhouse is off to China to put her work on display.
But in the meantime, some of her work is on show for all to see in Rotherham town centre on the Old Town Hall.
Yvonne will have two pieces of work exhibited at the Painting Exhibition in September at the Pride International Conference Center alongside the 2012 China International Friendship Cities Conference.
They will then be on show at the International Museum at Tianfu Square in Chengdu.
Nick Cragg, the entrepreneur behind the town centre open air art gallery, said: “On behalf of Gallery Town we wish Yvonne a great trip to China.
"It is a credit to Yvonne to have been selected and we hope to display some of the work created as a result of her visit in Rotherham for people visiting the town centre to see.”
