Woodseats youth club receives funding boost

The Double 6 Youth Club, based at the bottom of Scarsdale Road, has received a double whammy of funding.
The club got £714 from the South Community Assembly’s Small Grants Funding and £1,862 from the SCA’s Positive Activities Funding stream.
The club has been operating in the area since 1966 and provides a sexual health drop-in service, raised beds for organic produce and community out-reach work alongside the regular games and activities.
