The Wildlife Trust for Sheffield and Rotherham and the River Stewardship Company are holding a river-dipping event this Sunday, from 1pm to 3pm.
The organisers promise a fun filled afternoon of river-dipping where attendees will get ‘up close and personal’ with the wildlife of the River Don.
Readers who would like to attend are requested to meet near the Wicker Arches outside the SADACCA social club, 48 Wicker, at 1pm.
There will then be an easy stroll along the Five Weirs Walk to Salmon Pastures where the river-dipping will commence.
