ReCycle Bikes, an independent, not for profit bike project based on Thirlwell Road in Heeley are looking for drivers to help transport used cycles to their ReCycle Bicycle Aid for Africa (RBAA) warehouse in Colchester, Essex.
The RBAA is a charity that aims to provide cheap, sustainable modes of transport to Africa and to train locals as mechanics.
“We’re struggling to transport our current batch of around 150 bikes” explained Workshop Manager Paul Allard. “We’ve enquired about renting a 7.5 tonner but we can’t afford the expense”.
Contact the workshop on 0114 2507717 if you can be of any assistance
