Sheffield Wednesday Football Club has signed up to support the ‘Heroes Welcome UK’ scheme.
The scheme encourages businesses across the city to offer a warm welcome to service personnel, perhaps by offering a small discount.
Local organisations and businesses are being encouraged to show their support to serving members of the armed forces living in and visiting the city.
